Unsecured Loans Listings
Unsecured loans are one of the best value forms of personal credit available. They are called 'unsecured' because you are not required to provide any security (collateral) such as your home to guarantee that your debt will be repaid.
Anyone can apply, whether you're a homeowner or a tenant, but in most cases a reasonably good credit record is needed - or at the very least you shouldn't have anything too damaging on your credit file such as CCJs etc.
You can usually borrow up to around £25,000 depending on your circumstances and in most cases the more you borrow, the lower the interest rate will be. Loans for small amounts are unlikely to get you as low an interest rate as those shown in advertisments.
Repayments can be spread over a period of time to suit your budget, and although most loan deals have an upper limit of 7 years to repay, some allow up to 10 years. The longer you take to repay the more interest you will be charged in total, but your monthly repayments will be smaller.
